Waitress job description

Provides guests with exceptional service from beginning to end, fulfilling each guests needs and sharing in-depth knowledge of our menu

Your responsibilities will include...

Offer every guest a friendly and sincere welcome; be responsive and fulfill each guests needs; thank every guest and offer a fond farewell
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, professional appearance and demeanor to ensure guest satisfaction; ensure workstation and uniform are always clean
Prepare the dining room by setting tables, prepping stations and ensuring overall readiness
Guide guests through food and beverage selection by going through the menu; offering drinks and suggesting Tacazo favorites; be knowledgeable of our offerings and answer all food preparation questions
Keep kitchen informed of any special dietary needs and special requests
Must follow all cash handling policies and procedures.
Placing and managing togo orders
Follow Tacazo cleaning guidelines and complete end of day cleaning check list. (Cleaning bathroom, sweeping & mopping floors, cleaning prep tables, etc.)

You should have...

Taquero (Cook) job description

The heart of our kitchens. They are responsible for providing the best flavor in each taco and menu item that reaches our guests' palate.

Your responsibilities will include...

Prepare ingredients and menu item components daily to maximize efficiency and assist co- workers with other required prep duties when needed.
Assemble the dine-in/takeout orders making sure that each order is prepared exactly as it was designed and in a timely manner.
Maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness to ensure guest satisfaction; ensure the work station is always clean and organized.
Constantly monitor and maintain food temperature before, during and after service.
Cleaning up stations at the end of day (Flat top grill, Steam table, etc.)

You should have...

Flexible schedule and ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Prep or Line Cook.
A positive attitude and a team-player mentality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
Clean and organized with understanding of department of health standards.

Dishwasher job description

One of the most important positions in our taquerías. Without clean plates, pots and pans, we could not serve our customers our authentic tacos and provide them with the best Mexican hospitality.

Your responsibilities will include...

As a Lavaplatos you must assure that dish area, kitchen floor, storage are spotlessly clean at all times.
Must Maintain a clean and organized station, follow Tacazo standard operating procedures and follow Department of Health standards.
Ensure trash cans do not over fill and changing when necessary
Keep soda fridge stocked
Cleaning large copper pots (cazos for carnitas)
Cleaning food truck tables & floor
Washing floor mats at the end of the day
Leave floor/station clean at the end of the day
